  • Yasi's experience across diverse clinical settings, including schools, inpatient treatment centers, and outpatient environments, gives her a uniquely holistic perspective. She understands how past experiences, current stressors, and relationship patterns are all interconnected, and she uses that understanding to help clients see the full picture of their own story.

  • Her dual training in school psychology and clinical psychology, combined with her RBT credential and experience conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations, equips her with a comprehensive understanding of how individuals learn, develop, and process their experiences. This allows her to offer support that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

  • Yasi's integrative approach, blending CBT, ACT, DBT, trauma-informed care, psychodynamic insights, attachment theory, and behavioral strategies, means she can flexibly adapt her work to each client's needs rather than relying on a single framework. She pairs deep, insight-oriented exploration with practical, skills-based tools for lasting change.

"I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to truly be seen. It is an honor to hold space for others as they heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. My hope is that each person leaves feeling lighter, more grounded, and more trusting of their own inner strength."

- Yasi Nia

Yasi Nia is an Associate Psychologist at the Center for Healing & Personal Growth who brings a warm, integrative approach to working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and other emotional or behavioral concerns.

Her therapeutic work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe enough to truly be seen, and she is dedicated to creating that sense of safety for every client who walks through her door.

Yasi's clinical approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed modalities. She also incorporates psychodynamic, attachment-based, and Family Systems frameworks to explore deeper patterns, while weaving in principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and practical, skills-based interventions to support emotional regulation, behavior change, and meaningful growth. This breadth of training allows her to meet each client exactly where they are and tailor her approach to their unique needs and goals.

Yasi holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Child Development, a Master's degree in School Psychology with an Ed.S. credential as a Licensed School Psychologist, and is currently completing her PsyD (Doctorate in Psychology). She is also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with training in behavioral strategies and interventions, including the development of Functional Behavior Assessments. Her experience spans a wide range of clinical settings, including schools, inpatient treatment centers, and outpatient environments, where she has conducted comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations and worked with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse backgrounds.

Yasi supports clients in building emotional regulation skills, strengthening their sense of self, and developing healthier coping and relationship patterns. Her hope is that each person she works with leaves feeling more understood, more connected to themselves, and more confident as they navigate life with greater clarity and resilience.

Outside the Therapy Room

Yasi loves to travel and explore new places, especially when it involves trying different foods and experiencing new cultures. She enjoys staying active through Pilates and long walks, and makes time for meditation and self-care practices that keep her grounded and balanced.
