Standard psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly. Some clinicians offer 60-90 minute sessions for couples and families. With new clients, sessions are generally scheduled weekly to build momentum toward meeting your goals while we're still getting to know each other. Once you've reached your primary goals in therapy, you may find that you only need to come every other week.
